The Level 6 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management is designed to develop the knowledge, understanding, and practical skills required to succeed in managerial roles within the health and social care sector.

Course Structure

Learners need to complete six (6) units to achieve the full Level 6 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management.

2. Managing Quality in Health and Social Care (20 credits)
3. Principles of Leadership and Management (20 credits)
4. Health and Safety in Health and Social Care Workplaces (20 credits)
5. Resource Management in Health and Social Care (20 credits)
6. Research Methods for Healthcare Professionals (20 credits)

At the end of the qualification, learners will achieve the OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management (120 credits).

Who should study this qualification?

You should undertake this course to achieve a formal academic qualification at Level 6. Level 6 on the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) is equivalent to a UK Bachelor’s Honours degree.

This qualification is designed for learners who have already completed a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification. It is also well suited to managers working within care settings, as it supports both personal and professional development.
